Whitby Film Fest

So, i know i haven't been updating much on the blog, but that's only natural all thanks to my procrastination skills. Any ways, since my first post had glimpse of what i received for entering my film "Intervention: Lily", I've decided to continue updating on that and add What happened afterwards. I entered the the video into the Whitby Film Fest too. I also made a new one with my friends called "The Ultimate Makeover".

See the Videos for yourself! :P

The high school student --- addicted to her computer.
Lily has agreed to be in a documentary about addiction.

An A+ high school student
And obedient daughter
A caring sister

She does not know she will soon face an intervention.
Millions of people struggle with addiction.
Most need help to stop.
This is Lilys story.

Marge is a lonely mid aged women from Saskatchewan who moved to Toronto in search of love. She was discovered walking on the streets of Toronto by the hosts of The Ultimate Make Over. Due to her poor appearance, Hollie and Melanie invited her to become part of their show and give her a complete make over.

The Whitby Film Fest:

all of the 20 films shown were excellent.
some that stood out to me was "City of Colour", a stop motion picture film. it had a wonderful storyline and cool special effects. Sadly, i cannot find it on youtube.

Another film that stood out for me was by my friend Taikun. It's a short Flash film called "Blue". When ever i watch it, i feel all happy inside, as if i have no worries, no troubles, no problems.

finally, this film was very professionally done. i do believe Van will be a great director/producer/editor. "The Tale Of Roger Kent" was very interesting to watch. i can't imagine how one would feel with a duck tape beard!
